There'll be 3 Tideland releases in late October, a Blue-ray Disc, a HD-DVD and a Special Edition 2DVD set. But Amazon lists the 2DVD set as 16:9. Does anybody know if this is true? If it is true how can there be another false release of the film ??????????????? |

Well, can someone please tell me what the bonus features are on the German DVD release, anything new?
And VERY importantly, do the bonus features have an English Audio option. I know the *film* does, but do the bonus features?

Hi,
the bonus feature of the german DVD have all english audio! I don't know yet how much if not all have german subtitles.
It seems to be that the commentary for the Natali documentary is missing on the german DVD, but everything else from the US DVD extras will be on the german DVD. |

I'm still totally confused around the whole ratio issue.. Does this mean the German releases are the same as the UK R2?? As in when it says "corrected"... presumably corrected compared with R1?

I'm thinking of importing the HD DVD. I assume the subtitles aren't burned in (though I have heard of some cases in which you can't turn them off. Anyone have any experience with it? The info on amazon.de says 16x9 but it could be the opened-up framing without the cropping. |
